Who this is for.

If you see yourself in any of these, you're exactly who the Accelerator was built for.

πŸš€

Founders + operators

using events as a GTM and talent pipeline to land customers, partners, press and future hires

🎨

Events, brand + community leads

tasked with building a real audience IRL, not just another newsletter

🎀

Creators + solo hosts

ready to turn a personal scene into a recognised brand with revenue

βœ“

This is for you if…

  • You're actively planning an event (or one within ~3 months) and want a playbook, not theory
  • You're using events to drive GTM, talent, brand or community, not just to throw a party
  • You're treating this as serious professional development and want to level up fast
  • You want IRL to be your unfair advantage and you're ready to do the work
Γ—

This isn't for you if…

  • You want a passive video course you can binge on 2x. This is live and cohort-based
  • You're not willing to host something within ~3 months of the cohort
  • You want generic marketing theory. We go deep on events, community and curation
  • You want a giant Zoom class. We cap the cohort on purpose
Hi, I'm Amber

I've spent 3 years obsessing over what makes a room unforgettable.

I'm the founder of IRL by Amber, the team behind 90+ events for 3,000+ founders, operators, investors and tech builders across APAC. Curated dinners, late-night mixers, multi-day residencies, secret garden parties, if it brings the right people into the same room, we've probably built it.

On the business side, I've personally closed six-figure sponsorship deals and ongoing brand retainers, helping companies like the ones below get in front of the right rooms through events. You'll learn how to do the same.

Now I'm packaging everything I've learned, the wins, the disasters, the playbooks I wish I'd had on day one, into 8 weeks for the next wave of hosts.

Why nowAI high Β· trust low Β· IRL winning

Feeds are AI. Reviews are AI.
The most valuable thing online is now an invite off it.

Trust in the internet is at an all-time low and everything is swinging back to analog. Dinners. Salons. Tiny rooms with real humans. The brands and companies who give people what they want will be the ones who build the future. Here's what a great event is really doing for you under the hood:

Experiential GTM

Events are the highest-trust GTM channel left.

Cold outreach is dying. Paid is getting punished. Experiential design is the unfair advantage: one well-curated room puts you eye-to-eye with the exact buyers, partners and operators you'd otherwise spend months chasing on LinkedIn.

1 room
= 6 months of cold DMs
Brand asset

Events are your brand, in 3D.

A landing page tells people who you are. An event makes them feel it. The vibe of the room becomes the vibe of your brand, and people remember how rooms made them feel.

100%
of vibe is on-brand by design
Trust engine

Events are a trust shortcut.

Trust normally takes years of content, posts and proof. A great room collapses that into one night. You're not pitching trust, you're letting people experience it, with their friends.

1 night
= years of content marketing
β†’ Founders: hosting = pipeline
β†’ Operators: hosting = positioning
β†’ Personal brands: hosting = reach
β†’ Companies: hosting = retention + hiring
The moment we're inAI-native, IRL-obsessed

AI went up.
Trust went down.
People want IRL again.

↑

AI is everywhere

Including this site. I use AI every day. We're an AI-native operation, and we're not pretending otherwise.

↓

Trust is at an all-time low

Feeds are AI. Reviews are AI. DMs are AI. The internet feels like a hall of mirrors and people are exhausted.

⇆

So everything swings back to analog

Dinners. Run clubs. Salons. Tiny rooms with real humans. The most valuable thing on the internet is now an invite off it.

People want IRL.
The brands and businesses that know this are the ones building the future.

This program teaches you to build the most under-priced asset of the AI era: a room full of real people who actually trust you.

Don't just take my word for itThe receipts

The whole internet is saying it too.

AI high, trust low, IRL winning isn't my hot take β€” it's the shift everyone's now scrambling to name. Here's the receipts: creators calling it, and even the biggest AI company on earth paying up for it.

Real posts and press, June 2026. The shift is already here.

Events and community look easy. Until you actually do it.

You don't have a logistics problem. You just don't have the right playbook yet. After 90+ events, here's what trips up almost every new host, and what these 8 weeks fix.

πŸ˜…

Empty room anxiety

  • 40 RSVPs, 12 actually show up
  • You spend the first 30 minutes refreshing the door list
  • No system to predict or lock in real attendance
🫠

Wrong crowd in the room

  • Great turnout, weird mix of people
  • Half the room doesn't know why they're there
  • No one connects, follows or remembers it after
πŸ‘»

Banger once, ghost town after

  • First event was electric, round two falls flat
  • No community or rituals between events
  • You're starting from scratch every single time
🧯

You're the bottleneck

  • Host, door, MC, photographer and cleanup crew, all you
  • Putting out fires instead of enjoying the night
  • Nothing runs without you physically in the room
πŸ“΅

Venues that ghost or gouge

  • Cool spots quote $4k minimum and a 2-week deposit
  • Affordable ones reply 6 days late, or never
  • You end up in a beige co-working space with bad lighting
πŸ’Έ

Sponsors feel like a mystery

  • No deck, no pricing, no clue who to email
  • Terrified of undercharging or sounding desperate
  • Watching other hosts close deals you can't crack
πŸ₯±

Concept fatigue

  • Another panel, another pitch night, another mixer
  • Your ideas feel either too ambitious or weirdly cringe
  • Nothing in your format makes people screenshot it
πŸ“‰

No post-event ROI

  • Event went well, then what?
  • No follow-up, no leads, no content from the night
  • Nothing to show your boss, sponsors or bank account
What you walk away with

8 weeks in.
Tangible outcomes + ROI.

Events aren't a marketing cost, they're a go-to-market channel. By graduation you'll have an event on the calendar, a sponsor pitch that closes, and a playbook your team reuses long after the cohort wraps.

πŸ’›
Brand loyalty

Brand loyalty you can't buy with ads

Experiential design turns customers into fans. Weave your events, content and brand into a system of touch points and loyalty compounds in a way performance marketing can't replicate.

10–25% of pipeline at top B2B brands now comes from events + community
πŸ”
Community-led growth

The lowest-CAC channel of 2026

Rituals, follow-ups and group infrastructure that turn one-off attendees into a self-promoting community. Community-led growth is the cheapest, stickiest acquisition channel left.

Hosting can be lonely. You're often the only person in your company, your friend group, or your city doing the thing. This cohort fixes that, you're learning alongside other organizers, founders and community builders who actually get the work, and every cohort compounds the next.

We pair you with 3–4 other organizers building in similar industries or audiences, your built-in hype crew for the 8 weeks (and well beyond). Trade contacts, co-host crossovers, swap sponsor intros, sense-check each other's invites, and actually celebrate the wins together.

Beyond the panelAI-powered + wildly creative

Nobody wants another panel.
They want the secret garden party.

The bar has moved. People are skipping the standard pitch night for things like a Secret Tech Garden Party, Genesis Residency (six houses on one block of land, each house with its own theme), or a three-level tech rooftop party. We'll teach you how to come up with these concepts and similar, and how to use AI and IRL to actually pull them off without losing your mind.

And the concept is only half of it. The messaging and storytelling you wrap around it is what makes people show up. Who do you want people to feel like they're going to be when they step into the room? That's the question we'll keep coming back to.

Questions you're probably asking.

I've never hosted an event before. Is this for me?+

Yes, as long as you're actively planning an event (or looking to plan one within ~3 months of the cohort wrapping). You don't need to run it during the 8 weeks, you just need to be building toward it.

How much time do I need per week?+

Around 1.5 hours per week. That covers the live session, small-group peer chats, real-time feedback, optional in-person meetups, and anything extra you've built into your Event Playbook.

When are the live sessions?+

Live sessions run once a week on Thursdays. We offer two time slots so we can cover both hemispheres: 4:00pm AEST (great for APAC) and 8:00am AEST (works for the Americas / EMEA). You only need to attend one of them, it's one session per week, not two. Recordings go up straight after, so you'll never miss anything if life gets in the way.

What if I miss a session?+

Everything's recorded. You'll also have a private Slack to chat with the cohort, and you can DM me directly anytime.

Is there a payment plan?+

Payment plans are available for selected members on request, just mention it in your application.

What if I haven't found my niche yet?+

Perfect timing, honestly. Week 1 is all about concept, audience and goal-setting, we'll work through who you're really for, what makes your events different, and the angle only you can own. A lot of people leave Week 1 with a sharper niche than they came in with.

Will this help me land sponsorships and partnerships?+

Yes. Week 3 is dedicated to marketing, ticketing and partnerships, and I share the exact frameworks I've used to close six-figure sponsorship deals and ongoing brand retainers. You'll learn how to package your event, pitch brands, price it properly, and build partnerships that actually renew.

Do I need an existing audience or community to join?+

Nope. Plenty of people come in starting from zero, a personal brand, a new role, or just an idea. The program is built to take you from concept to a thriving community, not just to scale one you already have.

I'm a solo founder / freelancer / running this on the side. Will it still work for me?+

Yes. The cohort is a mix of solo operators, in-house event leads, founders and community builders. The frameworks scale up or down, you can run a 20-person intimate dinner or a 500-person flagship using the same playbook.

Is this online or in person?+

Live sessions run online via Gather Round (a super interactive, playful platform with breakouts and prompts), with a Slack HQ for async chat and feedback. There are also optional in-person meetups and a graduation celebration if you can make it.

What happens after the 8 weeks?+

You keep lifetime access to the recordings, your Event Playbook, and the alumni network. You also get ongoing invites to exclusive IRL by Amber community events, so the network keeps compounding long after the cohort ends.
